Your measurements

Measurements and calibration are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.

Analytics (optional, off by default)

Only if you allow it in the in-app prompt, the app sends anonymous usage data to our analytics provider, PostHog, on servers in the EU. This helps us improve the app.

• Sent: which screens and buttons you use, calibration outcomes, device model, OS and app version, language, time zone, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and a random installation ID.
• Never sent: your measurements or notes. Your IP address is used only to estimate location and is not stored.

Nothing is sent before you agree. You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings, which also deletes the installation ID. Data is never sold or used for advertising, and is kept for at most 7 years. Any transfer outside the EU is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Analytics is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or restrict its processing, and complain to your data protection authority (in Finland, the Data Protection Ombudsman). Contact admin@maxwase.eu.

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated.
